Job Description


Our client is a global real estate developer with an office in Singapore looking at regional acquisitions. They have embarked on numerous projects including township development, Grade A office acquisitions. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee the development of retail malls, office buildings, and residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in real estate development and a proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects. This would be an ideal role for individuals who are keen to work on large scale projects on the developer side. With their strong branding and reputation, this would be a role that will put you in good stride.Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
-Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all milestones are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.Budget Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, financial forecasting, and expense tracking.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining quality and safety standards.Quality Control and Compliance
- Ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
-Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality and compliance with design specifications.Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Proactively address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, ensuring collaboration and effective communication.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare detailed project reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.Key Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management within the real estate development sector, with a focus on retail, office, and residential projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex development projects from inception to completion.
-Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
