We are looking for an immediate, full-time, contract position in APAC at Singapore.

Your tasks:

Project Management (Primary)

  • Co-ordinate and manage project team, including business colleagues, consultants, contractors and local authorities to develop and deliver the project from concept to final completion
  • Deliver all level of construction and or facility improvement projects (including fit-out, M&E and Green Initiatives improvements) throughout the complete construction lifecycle and ensured delivery on time, budget to quality. This involves managing all necessary external parties.
  • Liaise with business colleagues including business development, solutions design teams, operations, and finance teams to ensure solution aligns with business requirements.
  • Manage project from sourcing to handover working with teams from Construction, M&E, Green Initiatives and Facilities Management, as required.
  • Work with stakeholders to finalize transaction including Legal, Risk, Procurement
  • Co-ordinate and track project progress status across the region when required
  • Render support to colleagues in other projects where necessary
Facilities Management (Complimentary)
  • Enable / Implement / Ensure CRE services. Provide CRE service and support to specific business area(s) of medium scale/ complexity e.g. Cluster or cross-business
  • Uses business knowledge and market data to develop solutions and establish clear priorities for actions to increase performance of the division. Plan deliverables for future development in line with strategic business objectives
  • Defines the project scope based on required timescales, resource and budget availability and with consideration to project challenges and risks
  • Project planning to ensure smooth operational delivery. Manages project plans including estimates of critical path, budget and resources needed for target achievement. Monitor and respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the escalations.
  • Project definition and scope management - Prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors, Monitor project to manage, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors
  • Demonstrating financial control, manages financial performance within a project. Compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money. Emphasizes how costs and problems can be minimized
  • Coordinate, plan and direct essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
  • Inspire the organization to respond positively to change, directs implementation of change programs related to facilities management
  • Adapts their own communication style, approach, level of message and choice of media as appropriate to reflect the needs of a wide variety of audiences and situations, and help their teams to do the same
  • Handles objections, challenges the points of view expressed by others, gets other people to support your views to ensure optimization of performance and legislature requirement of the facilities
Your profile:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture with high degree experience in M&E and Green Initiatives.
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant Project Management in Construction and Property Enhancement Projects, including M&E and green initiatives.
  • 4-7 years leadership experience (staff or vendor leadership)
  • Bilingual: English/ local language as needed
  • Cross-level communication \xe2\x80\x93 Senior Management as well as professional and staff level (technicians)
  • Preferably with high degree of exposure towards Property / Facilities Management or having the direct experience for 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years.
