Job Description

Lendlease Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Project Manager (Facade) to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Accountabilities:

Team

Manage design effort and coordination process design.

Manage the interface between the design team and the construction team.

Prioritize, coordinate and deploy project resources with assistance from the operations manager.

Identify and document key lessons learnt and areas of opportunity upon project completion.

Assist in development of the project staff.

EHS

Taking lead in ensuring the Design for Safety (DFS) /Risk & Opportunity at Design (ROAD) processes are planned for and delivered.

Responsible for the inclusion of Lendlease's Global Minimum Requirements (GMR) to ensure EHS requirements on site are met.

Ensure EH&S policies and procedures are included within the design deliverables of the Consultants.

Set a good example by personally complying with the project EH&S Program, including proper work attire and use of protective equipment.

Cost & Procurement

Take a lead role in the management of the Consultant procurement process.

Participate in tender interviews for major packages and make sure there is coordination between CSA and MEP among the managers and the package engineers so they are familiar with the detail of the procurement process and the individual scopes of the packages.

Be thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the general contract and specific packages thereby identifying changes, conflicts, etc prior to them occurring.

Set up in conjunction with the Commercial Manger the budgets and the cost planning and reporting procedures for the key Design stages of the project.

Schedule

Responsible to deliver the project to the agreed schedule with the client; in particular taking ownership of the pre-construction timeline.

Provide input into the development of the overall progress schedule in conjunction with the Project Scheduler.

Communicate schedule concerns with the vendors and Process Teams compile schedule section for weekly client meeting.

Communicate schedule and schedule concerns with contractor's senior management.

Quality Control

Ensure consistency of key processes, project quality

Be thoroughly familiar with the project requirements - drawings, specifications, procedures.

Help the QA manager with pushing the contractors to rectify defects and NCR's in a timely manner.

Education & Experience

Recognised Degree in Building, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical), Architecture or related disciplines

7-10 years of design and construction work experience in a project management position

Knowledge of Construction and Property industries and an understanding of estimating, scheduling, field supervision, contracts administration, procurement, financial controls and reporting.

Good interpersonal skills to prepare reports, negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders
