Planning and designing the programmes/projects and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
Defining the programme's governance arrangements
Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programmes/projects and coordinate with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes/projects and technical and specialist standards.
Managing the budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the programmes/projects progresses.
Facilitating the appointment of Project Leads and teams
Work with planning and delivery teams to evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to business users.
Ensure delivery of projects is within budget, on time and appropriate level of quality, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements.
Managing communications with all stakeholders
Managing both the dependencies and interfaces between projects
Managing risks to the programme's successful outcome
Initiating, intervention or escalate wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issue arise
Work with various users, multiple project teams, external parties to ensure site and infrastructure readiness for deployment and verification
Update and report the progress of the programme at regular interval to management.
Work-plan Budgeting:
Work with relevant parties to advise users on adoption of technologies and systems.
Assist in collating business requirements of institution stakeholders, including IT initiatives, IT estimates.
Assist in preparing funding approval papers.
Requirements:
Degree in Related Studies with more than 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in facility project management
Effective Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes/projects
The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems
