The Role
Kyndryl Project Managers oversee the delivery of major projects within scope, schedule, and budget. Youll be the driving force for every aspect of a programs success, and the conductor who orchestrates everyones efforts to make beautiful music together. As the single point of contact to the client, youll also be the living embodiment of Kyndryls reputation every day.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Management: Lead and manage Gen AI projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
AI/ML Strategy & Roadmap: Work closely with stakeholders to define AI use cases, assess feasibility, and drive adoption of Generative AI solutions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with engineering, data science, product, and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into products and services.
Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure AI models comply with security, ethical, and regulatory standards while mitigating risks.
Agile & DevOps Practices: Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate with MLOps teams for efficient AI model lifecycle management.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Define success metrics, analyze project performance, and provide executive-level insights.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in Generative AI (Gen AI) projects, deep knowledge of Hyper Scalers AI/ML offerings, and an understanding of the latest advancements in hyper-scaler technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving Gen AI projects across Multiple clients, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of AI/ML solutions that align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Overall 8+ years of project management experience, preferably 2 yrs in AI/ML or cloud-based initiatives
Strong understanding of Generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning).
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, MLOps, and DataOps.
Proven experience in working with hyperscalers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and their AI/ML service offerings.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Certification on any of the Hyper Scalers (Preferably Google) - Architect level, or AI / ML, Data Science certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Hugging Face, or other Gen AI platforms
Leverage Google Cloud AI/ML offerings (Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery ML, AutoML, etc.) and stay updated on AI advancements from AWS, Azure, and other hyperscalers.
GCP experience is a plus - including Vertex AI, Generative AI Studio, BigQuery ML, and AI APIs.)
Knowledge in LLM fine-tuning, AI ethics, and responsible AI practices.
Familiarity with APIs, cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD), and AI governance.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) are a plus.
