Position: Project Manager (Infra)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager with strong infrastructure and VMware expertise, ideally with CAT2A clearance, to lead and manage government or critical sector infrastructure projects in Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, particularly in VMware environments, and will be capable of leading complex projects with government stakeholders and vendors in a regulated environment.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Must-Have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in Infrastructure/IT Operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, etc.)
• Prior experience working with CAT2A-compliant environments or government projects in Singapore.
• Familiar with Singapore Government IM8 policies, GITSG, and infrastructure security compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications.
• VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, etc.).
• Experience in cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments (e.g., Azure Stack, GovTech cloud).
• Familiarity with Singapores public sector IT procurement and project lifecycle.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.
• Oversee VMware-based virtual infrastructure, including upgrades, migrations, and deployment projects.
• Liaise with government agencies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project compliance with IM8 and CAT2A requirements.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, resource allocations, and risk assessments.
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and quality standards specific to Singapores public sector (e.g., CAT2A).
• Conduct regular status meetings, prepare reports, and update stakeholders on progress and issues.
• Manage vendor deliverables, performance, and contract adherence.
