Role Overview





As Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. It includes acquiring resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the projects objectives and oversee the quality control throughout its life cycle.



The Project Manager position reports to the Team Leader Changes and Maintenance.


Key Responsibilities




Responsible and accountable for fast and efficient delivery of new installations and changes/upgrades of telecommunication and IT systems to customer vessels worldwide. Manage the delivery towards both the customer and internal departments. Project execution in accordance with contract, scope of work, budgets, schedule and quality requirements. Project reporting. Coordination with the customer for all defined work. Coordination with internal departments for all defined work. Execute assigned tickets in the ticketing system. Execute assigned e-mails in the shared and personal mailbox. Participate in internal project meetings. Participate in meetings with customers. Carry out and coordinate operation generated projects if needed. Create orders, tickets, reports. Monitor tasks, check due dates, follow up with responsible parties. Perform Site Surveys on board or remotely. Provide technical assistance and support to customers. Assist with other cases within the Standard Project Solutions department if needed.

Qualifications & Skills




Bachelor or master's degree preferred in IT/Telecommunications and/or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Considerable knowledge and/or education within Project Management. Experienced in customer handling in a diverse and international environment, preferably from the maritime industry. Good knowledge of satellite, network/IP technologies, IT/telecommunication. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong command of English Language both spoken and written. Another language is an advantage (Spanish, French, German). Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project). Experience in working in international teams. Good knowledge of ticketing and inventory systems. Knowledge of common business administration tools (databases, portals, intranet, etc.). Knowledge of project administration, logistics or maritime operation environment would be a benefit. Internal candidate to be preferred. You must be eligible to live and work in Singapore to apply.
