Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Construction Project Manager

with a strong architectural background and expertise in managing

LTA (Land Transport Authority) and HDB (Housing & Development Board) projects

. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with

regulatory standards, quality management frameworks, and sustainable construction practices

.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management:

Oversee

LTA and HDB construction projects

from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Develop

detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans

, optimizing cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to streamline execution. Identify risks early and implement

proactive mitigation strategies

to avoid project delays. Ensure strict compliance with

LTA, HDB, BCA, and URA

project guidelines and industry best practices.

Architectural & Technical Coordination:

Review, interpret, and manage

architectural and structural drawings

to ensure design feasibility and compliance. Work closely with stakeholders to resolve

technical challenges and design discrepancies

. Conduct site inspections to

ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and environmental responsibility

. Provide technical guidance to site teams on

materials, finishes, and sustainable construction practices

.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all

permits, submissions, and approvals

from the

respective Singapore Authorities

are obtained and maintained. Oversee project documentation, including

progress reports, RFIs, method statements, and handover documents

. Maintain compliance with industry

safety and environmental standards

. Lead

internal and external audits

to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder & Contractor Management:

Liaise with

clients, consultants, government agencies, and subcontractors

to ensure effective coordination. Conduct

regular site meetings and progress reviews

with key stakeholders. Evaluate and manage

contractor performance

, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.

Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance:

Enforce compliance with the

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Act

and

quality control frameworks

. Implement robust

quality control measures

, ensuring all construction works meet contractual and regulatory requirements. Address and resolve

on-site issues promptly

to prevent work disruptions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

. Minimum

2-4 years of experience in construction project management

, with expertise in

LTA and HDB projects

. Strong knowledge of

architectural detailing, materials, and construction methodologies

. Familiarity with

Singapore's regulatory framework

and requirements. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, or MS Project

for project planning and coordination. Excellent

leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

. Ability to manage

multiple project timelines

effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified PMP, CCM, or relevant construction/project management certifications

. Prior experience managing

sustainable construction projects

under

Green Mark and GGBS frameworks

. Strong understanding of

waste management, environmental impact assessments, and energy-efficient building systems

. Experience in implementing the

Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS)

and

Integrated ISO System (ISO 9001 - Quality, ISO 14001 - Environmental, ISO 45001 - Occupational Health & Safety)

to uphold quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards. *

Approved RP (Responsible Person) by BCA (Building and Construction Authority)
