Job Description

As the Project Manager, the incumbent is responsible to oversee Automated People Mover System Project by performing effective Project Management including effective cost, time and quality control, manpower planning.


The incumbent will interface with various project stakeholders including overseas and local vendors, contractors, Japan HQ to ensure a smooth execution of project.

Area of responsibility

Project Management


Leading project planning sessions Transportation infrastructure and construction, for Automated People Move System. Daily reporting and communication in Japanese with Japan Office. Project management and coordination with various stakeholders both internal and external to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion of various milestones. Designing and signing off on contracts Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation. Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review. Monitoring progress and make adjustments as needed
Risk Management & Cost Control


Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Update and report to Japan and Singapore management team. Track and control project costs to meet project budget.

Job Requirements

Master in Engineering preferred Minimum 4 years project management experience. Overseas job site experience in APM system. Japanese Language Proficiency of JLPT N1 or equivalent is required as there will be frequent correspondences with counterparts in Japan. Technical knowledge of Automated People Mover System Project * Project Management Professional Certification preffered
