Responsibilities

Supply chain oversight

:Manage the entire flow of products, from purchasing and warehousing to distribution.

Inventory and warehouse management

:Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor stock condition, and ensure efficient use of warehouse space.

Transportation and scheduling

:Plan and schedule incoming and outgoing deliveries, and optimize transportation routes and logistics.

Carrier and supplier relations

:Source carriers, negotiate contracts and rates, and build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other partners.

Budget and resource management

:Monitor and manage logistics budgets, and oversee resources like manpower, internal assets, and external vendors.

Team supervision

:Manage, supervise, and train logistics staff, including scheduling and performance optimization.

Problem-solving and risk management

:Identify and resolve issues related to transportation, imports, exports, and customer complaints. Develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.

Process improvement

:Analyze logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

Compliance and quality

:Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality control standards and specifications.
