Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects focused on AML compliance. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, coordinating with technical teams, business units, and third-party vendors, and ensuring AML systems meet regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of financial compliance, strong project management skills, and hands-on experience with AML and compliance technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage IT projects related to AML compliance from initiation to completion. Oversee integration of AML software solutions (e.g., Workflow Platform, transaction monitoring, screening tools) with existing banking or financial systems. Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units. Manage data migration, testing, troubleshooting, and UAT for AML projects. Identify and mitigate risks related to AML system design, implementation, and maintenance. Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to select and manage AML solutions. Provide post-implementation support, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 8+ years of project management experience in IT systems for financial compliance, risk management, or AML. Deep understanding of AML, KYC, sanctions, anti-bribery & corruption, and fraud in banking, insurance, or asset management. Knowledge of global regulatory environment and KYC developments. Experience with Workflow Platform highly preferred; Actimize, Detica, or Quantexa experience is a bonus. Strong project management skills with proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, and other tools. Familiarity with change management processes. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of technology and operational processes across banking functions. Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable plans. Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, and vendor management skills. Experience managing large, complex IT projects in regulated environments. * Ability to mentor, motivate, and foster team development through challenging assignments.
