Job Description

As a project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project to ensure that its quality is high and that it is completed within the allotted timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance, and ensuring project quality
• Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions
• Meeting with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress
• Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
• Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
• Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
• Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project
• Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams
• Working in data center, office, and construction site environments
  

• 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the telecommunication cabling industry
• Proven experience in structured cabling systems for Voice, Data, Video, Outside Plant, BMS, and Audio-Visual Systems.
• Expert in managing project teams as a working project manager
• Skilled at teaching project team\xe2\x80\x99s best practices for all types of cabling projects
• Have an expert understanding of ISO/EIA/TIA standards
• Understand and be certified in a broad array of industry product lines.
• Expert ability in reading and understanding telecommunications drawings and plans
• MS Office and MS Project proficient
• Have good communications and people skills in dealing with clients, vendors, and co-workers
• Must have the ability to work some weekends and overtime as projects demand
• Knowledge of applicable codes and BICSI standards
• RCDD Certification is not required but preferred.
