Job Description


The Savills project management team of over 510 project professionals spread across the APAC region, has a wealth of experience across multiple sectors including retail, shopping centres, industrial, education, healthcare, hotels and leisure facilities, commercial, residential, mixed-use and office developments. We offer a wide range of specialist services to cater to our clients\xe2\x80\x99 specific property, development or construction project requirement(s).

We invite Project Managers who oversee engineering or commercial construction projects to join our team. The position available is as follows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

  • Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Documenting project timelines and milestones.
  • Delivering progress reports and documentation for assigned projects.
  • Participates in project update meetings and other key meetings.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Track progress against established plans, reports results, and make alterations or updates
  • Develops program communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating project and program plans
Project Scheduling
  • Creates work breakdown structures, develops and updates project schedules/plans with actual and forecasted deliverable, and manages deviations from plan. Monitors actual project progress, compares to baseline, and reports progress against schedule
  • Documents, obtains approval for, and tracks all changes in project parameters
  • Produces project reports and notifications as appropriate and communicates project status to respective internal and external stakeholders and key project sponsor(s).
  • Managing project budgets and resource allocations to ensure efficient financial control
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress to all stakeholders
Primary Role
  • Attends Management and Project team meetings as required and to keep the project team informed about the progress of the project.
  • Participates in or conducts project reviews with stakeholders as necessary to perform ongoing assessments on the progress of projects.
  • Provide tactical input, expertise, communications, quality control, training, reporting, and general administrative support.
  • Ensures required review of all project documentation and approvals according to company standards and processes.
  • Closes all project documentation and archives actual appropriate records and achievements for estimating future similar projects upon project completion or premature cessation.
  • Working closely with Project Directors
  • Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in the cost management of projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with QA and company best practice.
  • Develop and implement strategic planning and programming.
  • Coordinating works with Client business units, consultant teams and vendors.
  • Liaising and communicating with the end users to ensure project success.
  • Running Microsoft Project and Savills in house Project Control Systems.
  • Responsible for managing project risk, programme adherence and health & safety.
Risk Management
  • Identifies risks in projects and applies techniques to assess and mitigate the risks using the help and support from the Project Managers and project sponsors.
  • Conduct project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation planning.
  • Forecasts the impacts on schedule of proposed changes and reports impact to project team, sponsor.
  • Follows appropriate procedure to escalate potential issues to achieve resolution.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum 6 years of direct relevant experience in Project Management, managing corporate office projects
  • Degree holder or above in Project Management, Interior, Architectural, Building Engineering or similar disciplines
  • Experience in client representative project management is preferred
  • Capable of working with senior client executives within large corporate companies
  • Excellent communication and planning skills
  • Knowledge in corporate office renovation
  • Output and delivery focused
  • Strong administration and reporting skills
