Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop or improve existing course plan and instructional delivery method.
  • Review, design and produce technology-enabled instructional materials that captivate learners to maximise training effectiveness.
  • Develop project schedules and documentation; define and assign work to developers assigned to projects; monitor and control work in progress for technical adequacy and alignment with project requirements; and provide active assistance to project team to meet schedules and resolve complex technical or user requirements.
  • Work with third-party vendors such as content authors and content developers to meet schedules and resolve complex technical or user requirements.
  • Establish metrics and monitor progress to assure contract compliance, user satisfaction, and attainment of company commitments and objectives; report progress to appropriate levels of management and users.
  • Adhere to established delivery methodology, quality standards and best practices in project management.
  • Ensure on-time, on-target and on-budget delivery of solutions.
  • Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, significant issue management and resolution reporting, and communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Serves as primary liaison contact with users to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum user satisfaction.
  • Engage stakeholders on projects including clarifying of project scope, communication of changes and communication of deliverables.
  • Partner with senior leadership and functional departments, including product marketing, sales, and corporate marketing with effective positioning, messaging, education, and competitive differentiation.
  • Manage and support admin/operational activities required for online professional development programmes with relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
  • College/University Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong people/team management skills - ability to provide direction/leadership to others as a project lead and/or a functional/technical specialist.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent work ethic and drive, strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop strong project team, and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the education industry, including Elearning content development (K12 to adult learning).
  • PMP or equivalent certification and certified in Instructional Design.
There are 2 positions available for our Editorial and Professional Development (Adult Learning) teams respectively. Candidates with instructional designing experience would be considered to be part of our Professional Development team who will be developing and improving on the existing course plan and instructional delivery method. The incumbent would also be reviewing, designing and producing technology-enabled instructional materials to improve training effectiveness.
