The Opportunity
Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a Project Manager
Focus: supporting project management activities for Regional Investment Operations including development, implementation and process and controls-related enhancements impacting APAC across multiple businesses.
Office location: East
The Talent
Bachelors degree
Banking Operations knowledge (possibly on Investment Banking or Settlement knowledge)
Some experience in strategic consulting, management consulting, project management, process improvement
Exposure to end-to-end bank infrastructure, including Client service, Product, Technology, Operations and Controls is preferred.
Strong knowledge of MS tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint
Proficiency in Excel VBA is preferred
Good organizational, prioritization skills
Ability to take initiative and work without constant supervision
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure & demonstrate capability to co-ordinate different tasks and perform related follow up until completion
Ability to communicate, present effectively
Team player who is easy to work with, shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand & time-sensitive initiatives
The Job
The role will work cross-functionally with Regional Investment Operation teams, Product specialists, Front Office, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology.
The size and duration of each project will vary but the objectives will focus on similar key aspects such as risk mitigation, process efficiency, technology enablement and business development.
Assist in designing, developing and coordinating end-to-end project plans and work streams with focus on process enhancements and controls and ensure timely delivery of critical initiatives.
Contribute in meaningful and appropriate ways to meetings or calls; clear, concise and confident written and oral communications
Ensure that the aims, objectives and requirements of business projects or initiatives will maintain the integrity of Regional Investment Operations processes & controls
