Manage and direct ship repair, maintenance, construction and conversion programme.
Conduct and lead the daily VSCC meeting for maintenance programme inlcuding approve/endorse of permit-to-work and incompatible jobs onboard to ensure safety of personnel and property are not endangered.
Meet repairs or maintenance schedule by planning, monitoring projects\' critical path, cost control and execution.
Develop good working relationship with customers and all level within the department.
Identify bottlenecks and solve daily conflict at ground level to highligh possible delays in advance, propose and execute corrective and preventive actions by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.
Closely liaise with ship owners, vessel crew to enusre successful completion of projection meeting or exceeding customer\'s expectations.
Meet contractual commitments and quality of repaired ship
Capture additional works and raise work list and provide information to Commercial dept for more competitive pricing.
Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, regulatory, company, quality, environment, occupational health and stafety standards and procedures.
Any other adhoc assignments from the superior
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architecture Engineering
Possess Supervise Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate
Possess 5 to 7 years\' experience in similar capacity from marine industries.
Knowledge of shipyard production trade activities
Computer literate, with Microsoft Office skills/abilities
Good leadership and communication skills
Willing to work late and on weekend when required.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment., outcome driven, organized and strong team orientation.
Only Singapore Citizen will be considered for this position.
