Job Description

This is a contract position attached to this entity of the statutory board which promotes interest in community leadership to grow a new generation of young leaders. It offers Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO) programmes such as Integration Support, Public Education and Youth Development and its target groups are Family and Youth.

Location: East (Bedok area)

Duration: April 2023 for 1 year, renewable

Job Scope

-Organise and execute a series of programmes (reporting to project managers in project planning and management)

-Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including various government agencies, educational institutions, ministries, nongovernment organisations and corporate bodies to ensure smooth events planning and execution

-Organise sessions with partners to facilitate effective communication and sharing of views and resources among partners and the Community Development Councils

-Manage admin related matters, including managing relevant procurement processes and related administrative and approval matters

-Work closely with the Constituency Office counterparts to monitor and coordinate activities

-Provide administrative support. (E.g. collate and assist in preparation of reports, including evaluation reports, proposals, success stories, programme surveys and test results)

-Consolidate project requirements and budget

-Manage requests for purchases and provide secretariat support

-Manage relevant procurement processes and related administrative and approval matters

-Provide secretariat support (organise meetings, prepare notes of meetings)

-Other duties as specified by project manager

Requirements

-Degree qualifications

-Good communication skills and administration skills

-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

-Committed to deadlines and have excellent time-management to work on several projects simultaneously, efficiently and independently.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm

With one weekend every month (Off in lieu will be given)

Monthly Remuneration: $3,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $4,000 range
