About the role

This role sits within EDB\'s Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) Division. The Events & Partnerships executive officer works on events that are owned and managed by EDB. He or she will be an active part of a team executing EDB\'s events and partnerships strategy to bring the Singapore brand to life, offer memorable experiences for our clients, and help EDB achieve marketing objectives including generating and nurturing of leads.

Our ideal candidate is someone excited about how events and partnerships can convene like-minded people and create meaningful connections. We are also looking for someone comfortable and familiar wit the nuts and bolts of executing an event: from procurement and vendor selection, to issuing event invites and tracking RSVPs, and more.

Responsibilities:

-Providing strong support in event execution. This covers but is not limited to the following:
Maintaining/updating of client database
-Working with vendors and partners to ensure event goes without a hitch: eg: arranging for floral arrangements, providing administrative and logistical support
-Issuing invites to events, tracking RSVPs
-Planning seating arrangements
-On-site support
-Project management, ensuring that timelines for key milestones are met
-Other duties include tracking of budget spent, working on database refreshes and optimisations, supporting on knowledge management (eg: curation of list of preferred venues or vendors)

-Are patient, meticulous with details, and with strong interpersonal skills
-Being resourceful and having hospitality experience is a plus
-Appreciate the importance of project and vendor management
-Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field such as marketing & communications
