A Project Officer position is available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Wei MA at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and hard-working individual to support the lab activities of a plant research laboratory. A candidate with expertise of Arabidopsis genetics, plant molecular biology, Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression assay and microscopy background is highly desired.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various administrative tasks within the lab, including but not limited to safety and risk assessment, equipment maintenance, procurement, and other related duties.
Job Requirements
BSc in Biological Sciences or related fields
Prior lab experience in plant genetics, plant molecular biology, transient expression assay, gene regulation, microscopy, and plant fatty acid analysis.
Expected to be competent in plant molecular biology, plant genetics, lipid biochemistry, physiology, and Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression techniques.
Expected to be enthusiastic to plant biology research and suitable for teamwork.
