Job Description

Schaeffler-NTU Corporate Lab (SHARE@NTU) is hiring a Project Officer. The key objective is to support efforts to design, fabricate and control a soft robotic gripper for the applications specified by Schaeffler Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
This project involves the modeling, design, fabrication and control of a soft gripper that can be used for manufacturing purposes.
Modeling and designing the proposed soft gripper
Fabricate and eventually control the soft gripper
Conducting experiments to evaluate the soft gripper
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Applicants with strong background in the areas of mechanical design, robotics, solid mechanics, or other relevant topics are encouraged to apply.
The candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, and also the ability to work independently
