We look forward to hearing from you!Are you ready to take this journey?The PositionWe are currently seeking for a Project Permit to Work Coordinator to join BW Offshore. This role is for a 9 month contract period and will be based in Singapore (Tuas Boulevard Yard).You are responsible forThe Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator shall be responsible for:

  • Act as primary point of contact to coordinate all PTW activities
  • Act as primary interface between Commissioning Operations and Construction, providing up-front advice and support to users of the PTW process
  • Liaise with the performing parties at the planning phase to complete the Permit Review/Screening to ensure appropriate level of risk assessment is performed.
  • Identify activities that conflict with other work to coordinate and manage identified hazards and ensure steps are undertaken to implement mitigations and avoid SIMOPS.
  • Lead daily permit to work coordination meeting, update and circulate list of next day\'s/week\'s planned work activities with relative order and priority.
  • Keep up-to-date daily register of PTW\'s, supplementary certificates, audits and performance statistics
  • Ensure that all documentation associated is attached with the permit including but not limited to; complementary permits, mechanical / electrical isolation certificates, CoSHH P&ID and JSA
  • Brief permit holders on next day\'s permits for authorization ensuring no conflicts with any Standing Instructions or operational situations
  • Perform spot-checks on the correct execution of PTW work activities in compliance with PTW procedure and company procedures. Coordinate and conduct routine PTW audits and act focal point for PTW audits
  • Track and advise line management for overdue or expired permits, certificates, forms and maintain records and hard copies of all PTW documentation as per document retention policy.
  • Identify ways to improve PTW process and system regarding safety, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain live permit rack and keep PTW dashboard populated in real time
  • Participate in PTW audits and incident and near miss investigations that are associated with Permit to Work process when nominated by Line management
  • Day to day management of registers associated with control of work for example LO/LC register, LTI register and Disturbed Joint Register
Education And ExperienceExtensive experience with paper based or electronic permit to work systemsAwareness of production and electrical hazardsEducationRelevant Diploma or Engineering degree in any discipline or relevant OPITO approved vocational qualification, e.g. City & Guilds Level 3 Petroleum Processing Technology (POL) or NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Processing Operations (Hydrocarbons)ExperienceHave at least 10+ years extensive experience in a similar roleHave at least 10+ experience with FPSO / offshore oil & gas projectsWho We Think You AreExcellent team spirit and proactive attitude.High interpersonal communication skills.Good cultural awareness with multi-cultural workforce.Must have the ability to foresee potential issues and eliminate those issues before they arise.Good command of English, written and spoken.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionWe are deeply committed to creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and equitable working environment for all.
