Responsibilities:
Create, update, and manage comprehensive project schedules using scheduling tools for the power plant construction project.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines align with key milestones.
Oversee project budgeting by tracking and controlling costs related to the power plant construction.
Perform cost forecasting and variance analysis to highlight and address budget deviations.
Partner with finance and procurement teams to promote cost-effective practices and optimize resource use.
Monitor project KPIs such as schedule adherence and resource allocation.
Supervise construction progress and take proactive measures to address delays, budget issues, or other project risks, ensuring alignment with the project plan.
Identify and assess construction-related risks, and work with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies that minimize delays, cost overruns, safety hazards, and compliance concerns.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering
At least 8 years of experience in Project Planning and Control
Experience in Power Plant Projects
Good working knowledge of Primavera -P6/ MS Project software. Should be able to understand and develop S - Curves with earn value systems.
