About Our Client
Our client is a Leading Water Treatment MNC, expert in the development and innovative production of water treatment technologies and solutions globally.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Project Procurement Manager who can essentially oversee the supply chain activities throughout the project and lead project timeline with cross functional teams to ensure proper progress of milestones.
Key responsibilities of this role, reporting to Procurement Director would include:
- Collaborate with Project Management and Cross-functional teams on meeting project timeline, strategy and requirements
- Collaborate with Procurement Team for the execution of commodity strategies across the region
- Lead supplier performance reviews and contract negotiations by close collaboration with the supplier quality engineering team
- Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits
- Accountable for material variance reports and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with delivery team to ensure quality and on time delivery of materials
Candidate Profile
Singapore \xe2\x80\xa2 Permanent
- Minimally Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing / Supply Chain Management / or related studies
- Minimally 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in Procurement, preferably with Project Procurement experience, in Water Treatment / Oil & Gas industry
- Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing, problem-solving, communication & negotiation skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing team work and synergy in the organisation
- Displays strong and affirmative leadership with a diplomatic and team player personality
- Good experience using ERP systems such as SAP
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite
