Working hours: Part-time3~4 days 8hrs/day, 8:30am to 5:30pmKEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Project Proposal Engineer plays a pivotal role in achieving project objectives within defined time and cost frameworks while ensuring full delivery scope and quality. This position involves a combination of technical expertise, project management, and customer-focused activities to support and drive sales. As a crucial link between the technical and commercial aspects of projects, the Project Proposal Engineer ensures customer satisfaction and successful handover to the Project Execution team.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborative Sales ApproachPartner closely with all stakeholders to serve customers effectively and meet team sales targets.Proposal & Quotation PreparationAnalyze requests for proposals to understand project scope, technical requirements and customer expectations.Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies in proposals.Ensure proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations.Utilize CEP and SAP systems to prepare accurate costings, quotations, and proposals for companyxe2x80x99s products, services, and third-party packages.Terms & condition (T&C) review & negotiationCustomer Engagement and Technical AssistanceSummarize customer specifications and create a Deviation/Clarification list.Participate in technical clarification meetings with customers, clarifying companyxe2x80x99s proposed deviations.Handle inquiries via various communication channels, provide technical assistance and advice, follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, close orders, and maintain customer relationships.Cross-Department CoordinationWork with Sales teams, Service, Finance and Supply Chain departments to gather necessary input for quotations and proposals.Order Processing and VerificationVerify customer Purchase Orders, convert quotations into sales orders, and process orders using the SAP system.Customer Service and Problem ResolutionDeliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, resolve problems, and address complaints effectively.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform any other tasks required by the Company to support its business strategy.KEY REQUIREMENTSDiploma or Degree in Control/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalentAt least 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Instrumentation and Automation/Control EngineeringRelevant Technical knowledge (Would be an advantage)Proven track records and experience with project proposalEnthusiastic, dynamic, and customer-oriented personalitySystematic and meticulousStrong ability to work effectively within a team environment.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.KEY COMPETENCIESStrong project management skills (PMP certification would be an advantage)Technical knowledgeEffective communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-Motivated and IndependentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesCustomer-focused with a commitment to quality and satisfaction
