Team Leadership & Management

Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables. Oversee task delegation, performance monitoring, and workflow coordination across multiple projects. Provide mentorship and training to junior QS staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Drive a collaborative and productive working environment to meet project and company goals.

Cost & Contract Management

Provide strategic cost, contract, and commercial advice to management for effective decision-making. Prepare, review, and manage

cost plans, tender documents, BOQs, and procurement strategies

. Evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and contractual compliance. Review and certify

progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts

. Mitigate financial and contractual risks while ensuring compliance with company and client standards.

Project Coordination & Support

Work closely with the project and construction teams to ensure commercial alignment and support project delivery. Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost control measures. Prepare management reports highlighting cost performance, risks, and value engineering opportunities. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on contractual and commercial matters.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in

Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management

. Minimum

5-12 years of experience

in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead role. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a QS team. Strong knowledge of

cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement

in construction projects. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic project environment.
