To ensure that all information as required is obtained at the appropriate times within the Project life cycle.
To develop the overall integrated project schedule incorporating all schedule inputs from the various functions represented in the project including contractors and 3rd parties.
To develop schedules as required by the Project Manager at the various phases of the Project life cycle.
Liaise with other Project Team members and external contracting bodies as necessary to ensure the smooth flow of relevant information required for scheduling purposes.
To ensure that resource scheduling is undertaken to make best use of available external and internal resources.
To regularly monitor progress against the project schedule and report any discrepancies to the Project Manager.
To participate in independent schedule reviews and incorporate findings
To participate in the risk management and analysis exercise and assess schedule impact of identified risks
To carry out schedule analysis to identify critical path and optimisation of same
To facilitate interactive planning for integrated schedule development
To manage schedule reporting and earned value management process
To manage and report impact of change on the project schedule
Requirements:
Min. Degree in any engineering discipline
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the project management field or in chemical/pharmaceutical industry
Experience of working with and managing EPCM/TPS providers
Experience in project schedule planning and control
Excellent time management and planning skills
