Job Description

The Business Manager is a senior level position responsible for driving results through the management of a professional team. The teams drives the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Manager may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Singapore Changi Citi Solutions Centers (CSC) is part of the global network of Citi solutions Centers (CSCs). As part of the Site Leadership Team, the individual will work closely with the Site Leadership, Country Franchise and Regional/ Global CSC Network to plan and execute CSC Governance and Strategy, leading Communications and Employee Engagement programs at Changi CSC Site.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with local and regional business management team to ensure alignment of business goals
  • Manage a team by providing technical knowledge, coaching, evaluation, determining hiring etc.
  • Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics
  • Prepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/ or regular business meetings
  • Seek out sources, track, consolidate and analyze ad-hoc and regular business requests
  • Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership
  • Provide input into and recommend technology change, process improvements and control framework enhancements
  • Seek out and ensure corrective actions are implemented for control related issues and remedial action is taken
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Changi CSC Governance
o Leads the monthly Site Leadership Team (SLT) and ensure collaboration with key stakeholders in CSC, Country Franchise and CSC Network

o Tracking Site Standard initiatives to ensure adherence to the annual plan and Conducting annual site assessment

o Plans and tracks Changi CSC Site budget and ensure that monthly site spend is submitted promptly

o Timely reporting of the site's achievements and updates in the monthly Site Action Plan and CCC Update

o Creates and maintain material for senior visits, new hire orientation, Site Leadership Team meetings, or when required

o Builds relationships with stakeholders and other CSC colleagues for best practice sharing and to collaborate on projects, where possible
  • Communication and Employee Engagement
o Leads communication strategy for CSC site

o Designs and executes communication and employee engagement programs for CSC site which aligns to global CSC Network goals and themes

o Drives cross-CSC collaboration by engaging and partnering with key stakeholders through planning and executing various employee engagement initiatives seamlessly

o Supports communication and implementation of global and regional initiatives (both franchise and CSC network) and initiatives hosted by teams residing at Changi CSC where possible

o Establishes branding of the Changi Citi Solutions Center (CSC) through various media including Collaborate site, newsletters or regular email publications including digital media wall to ensure that initiatives and important notices are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders

o Ensures visibility for Site initiatives across available forums/ platforms - Country franchise, regional and global

o Coordination with the Corporate Affairs and Regional/ Global teams for specific Communication activities/ campaigns where required

o Establishes benchmark and target against which future improvement can be made through surveys and other channels

o Curates internal communication response to feedbacks and enquiries made by staffs

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; basic macro coding experience and proficiency in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
