Job Description

:

We are looking for an experienced Server & Network Engineer to manage and strengthen the infrastructure supporting our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Ground Control Systems.


This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems used in UAV operations, including managing virtualized environments, operating systems, and secure networks with a focus on automation and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and maintain UAV Ground Control System infrastructure. Manage and optimize virtualized environments (VMware) and operating systems (Windows and Linux). Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across mission-critical environments. Configure and maintain networking components, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Implement automation and monitoring solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role. Strong hands-on experience in:

VMware hypervisor setup and management


Microsoft OS administration (AD, DNS, GPO)


Linux systems administration


Networking (CCNA level) - configuration of switches, L2/L3 protocols


FortiGate Firewalls - configuration, VPN, and threat protection

Good to Have:

Experience with automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) Knowledge of storage technologies and iSCSI protocol Familiarity with Docker and containerization Understanding of PKI maintenance Experience with IP Multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP) Exposure to network management systems
