We currently have an exciting position for an experienced Proposal Manager with experience in Control Systems to join our Bid Management team in our Singapore office supporting the global Sales effort on Integrated Systems & Modules, pending project assignment. The responsibility of this position applies to one or more of Siemens Energy Industrial Applications activities, which includes Combined Cycle Power Generation Plant and Offshore Modules. The ideal candidate will have Control system design experience in the oil & gas and power generation industry.

What part will you play?

• Develop Proposals as a technical lead for Siemens Energy Industrial Applications customer/client base (which includes offshore oil & gas customers, LNG plants, etc.) by review of client\'s request for quotation (RFQ) and perform equipment selections including drivers and auxiliary, using company or other engineering tools developing the most optimized solution(s).
• Prepare outside purchase equipment (OPE) RFQ(s) and work together with the regional/global supply chain manager(s) to engage and align for a compliant offer.
• Responsible to lead the overall cost integration and analysis with consideration for technical and commercial risk assessment prior to arriving at final Pricing.
• Assist the Sales Managers in developing Technical and Commercial strategies for the successful implementation of the Order Capture Process and participate in the development of quantified value propositions.
• Follow the RFQ to Order process and it\'s pre-established gates / screens including order entry and handover to Operation(s) for successful execution.

• Identify cost or time-saving opportunities within the proposal development process or stemming from Non-Conformance instances and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Develop Master control system architecture and BOMs for Combined cycle Power generation and other projects.

What you need to make real what matters.

• Electrical engineering majoring in power/telecom/control, or Instrumentation Engineering from accredited higher education institution.
• Experience in the Power plant control system is a must.
• Candidate must be familiar with generation control system especially for Combined Cycle System Power Plant (GTG/STG UCP, WHRU, BOP, etc)
• Candidate must be familiar with safety control system and SIL requirement.
• Candidate must be familiar with Power Management System which cover load management system and generation management system.
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate the skill to design the control system of power plant.
• Knowledge of switchgear/protection is preferred.
• Deep skill in networking (TCP/IP, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, routing), VPN and cyber security are mandatory.
• Deep knowledge with PLC and industrial computation is mandatory.
• Familiar with basic communication protocol e.g. Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, IEC 104, IEC 61850, OPC UA.
• Basic understanding of data storage/historian.
• Familiar with T3000 or PCS7 system is compulsory.
• Familiar with the system modelling, PLC simulator (PLCSIM), Siemens software simulator.
• Understanding of the offshore requirement (class society standard) is preferred.
• Team player and works well with others in a team environment.
• Domestic and international travel is required to support training, project presentations, bid clarification and project kick-off meetings.
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in the English language, bilingual and international experience is an advantage.
