Mutant is a weird name for an agency, we know. We\xe2\x80\x99d love to tell you there\xe2\x80\x99s a cool reason for it - like being exposed to gamma radiation or being bitten by a spider - but alas, our origin story is a little less dramatic.

We started in 2012 as a PR agency, led by one guy with a simple idea - to grow an agency that focused on getting business results and removing agency fluff.

From these humble beginnings, we evolved into a regional agency with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, servicing clients across Asia Pacific and globally for their PR, content marketing and branding needs.

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Public Relations Associate to help with managing and carrying out daily client and project tasks. This role includes working with a diverse range of consumer, technology, and corporate clients in both B2B and B2C areas. The duties include media relations, media monitoring, pitching and reporting, as well as chances to support business growth through research and pitching. To be clear, we want someone who has self-assurance, a great personality and loves working in a fast-paced, energetic team environment.

What you\'ll be getting up to:

• You\'ll be chatting with clients and the media on a daily, mostly through phone and email.
• You know how to whip up some persuasive articles, blogs, and other written materials when necessary.
• You\'ll be keeping an eye out for any chances for clients in the media, like newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs.
• You\'ll have to put together regular reports for clients and go to their meetings.
• Researching, crafting, and sending press releases and content to specific media outlets is your jam.
• You\'ll help push news stories and features to the media. You\'ll also be gathering, reviewing, and assessing media coverage.
• You\'ll give a hand on event management (like press conferences, promotional events, Studio coordination, and/ or site recce) and Social media management.
• You already have or are down to build, solid professional relationships, and new ones with clients, colleagues, and the media.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• You bring along 1-2 years of experience in PR (preferably in an agency environment).
• You\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about a career in Public Relations.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re interested in working with consumer, technology, and startups clients
• You have an excellent command of the English language and can write exceptionally well
• You\xe2\x80\x99re meticulous and able to handle pressure well.
