We are seeking intelligent, purpose-driven and ambitious interns like you to support our client servicing teams across a range of clients in the fast-moving technology sector. Ideally, you should be a geek at heart, tech enthusiast, keen to work with teams from across the world, and have an appetite for working in a fast-paced environment. Interest in the communications, creative and technology industries will be an advantage.
The Plot Thickens:
The intern will be assigned to support client servicing tasks, with the opportunity to gain communications experience by providing support to the client accounts team especially in client campaigns, media relations and content marketing activities that make an impact for our clients.
You'll have the opportunity to get involved with and develop skills in:
Media relations:
Monitor editorial opportunities and flag them to the office, research media contacts, compile media contact lists for pitching and create reporter briefing sheets
Media outreach:
Develop media pitches and invites, including follow up and securing media interest
New business:
Pull together preliminary research to contribute to new business pitches
Content development:
Draft press releases, bylines and social copies where required
Speaking and awards:
Create and update yearly calendars with speaking and awards opportunities, pull together abstracts as required
Events and media production support:
Sourcing vendors for internal and external events, seminars and activities, vendor liaison and on-site support for production of video
Employee engagement:
Supporting internal engagement activities such as social activities and internal training programmes
Attributes of the Protagonist (That's You)
Able to commit 6 - 12 months (preferred full-time)
A passion for media relations, digital and social marketing
Strong administration skills
A "can do" attitude
The Hero's Background: Qualifications
Good command of spoken and written English
Good planning, organisational and research skills
The ability to work independently, but you also know when to escalate issues and seek help and support
Computer literacy in Microsoft such as Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
Interest in the communications and technology industry, with a love for innovation, will be advantageous.
