Defining PR strategy and tactical activity in a given business quarter.
Management of external media partners & vendors to drive outreach campaigns to MoneySmart's owned and earned media assets.
Drive organic earned media, and link growth through thought leadership content distribution. (Ideation to execution)
Management of inbound media requests and execution
Campaign level PR activities - Press release writing, pitching and distribution
Develop, compile, measure, and interpret key metrics, including brand metrics, tied to specific organic performance marketing campaigns.
Requirements
At least 3-5 years experience in a high growth environment (start-up exposure is preferred, but not essential) in the tech / finance sector.
Superior oral, written and presentation skills, and is capable of developing content for external audiences in the forms of media releases, invitations, white papers, as well as managing media relations.
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting and teamwork skills
Proven work experience as a PR Communications professional
Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress
Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
