The position focuses on designing and implementing complex enterprise and network architecture solutions within the public sector. The architect will assess existing infrastructure environments, define modernization strategies, and lead initiatives to optimize performance, security, and scalability across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct end-to-end infrastructure assessments to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Develop architecture blueprints and roadmaps that align with government sector standards and compliance frameworks.
Design and deploy hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions for improved resilience, efficiency, and automation.
Collaborate with security, application, and DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation practices.
Oversee storage architecture design, capacity planning, and data lifecycle management.
Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and operational readiness.
Prepare documentation, proposals, and technical presentations for both internal stakeholders and government clients.
Requirements
CAT 2A Cleared is highly desirable
Strong background in enterprise infrastructure architecture, ideally across both private and public sector environments. Hands-on experience with hyperconverged infrastructure technologies, virtualization, and storage systems.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation frameworks, and modern deployment methodologies.
Deep understanding of network design, cloud integration, and security best practices.
Proven ability to conduct infrastructure assessments and translate findings into actionable architecture roadmaps.
Familiarity with government compliance, procurement, and cybersecurity standards is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
