Job Description
Our client is a IT industry. They are looking for a Buyer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in East. Responsibilities:
- Responsible in handling sourcing/purchasing of materials and equipment required by the Company
- Responsible in preparing Purchase order
- Responsible in sourcing for new suppliers/alternative parts/raw materials and equipment etc
- Responsible in monitoring and driving the performance of suppliers to ensure that the Company continues to use the best services
- Responsible in working with planner and Logistic executive to control and manage inventory to healthy level based on business needs and liaising on the delivery schedule for raw materials regularly
- Responsible in handling negotiation with suppliers on cost and delivery lead time and liaising with supplier on all quality issues
- Responsible in updating the system latest standard cost for all the raw materials annually.
- Responsible in resolving shipment discrepancies, quality replacement and returns in a timely manner
- Responsible in leading and driving cost reduction activities for all purchases
- Responsible in supporting company initiatives to protect the environment e.g.by minimizing resources wastages, recycling effort and proper waste disposal
Requirements:
- Min Diploma / Degree in any relevant field
- Min 5- 7 years working experience
- Prior experience in handling purchasing Electrical components is a bonus
