JOB DESCRIPTION:



Assist Senior Purchaser Obtain quotes for various vessel stores, spare parts, and service arrangements based on RFQs from vessels and vessel managers/operations teams. Update purchase orders in the company's costing system. Prepare documents, including delivery orders, and apply for necessary permits for ship repairs as requested. Assist with operational arrangements. Monitor and ensure that all invoices are approved by the relevant parties and submitted to accounts promptly. Communicate with clients for approvals, including checking and monitoring the status of various requisitions. Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS:



Experience in marine supply (Ship's Store Purchasing). At least 1 year of experience in procurement. Experience in the maritime and shipping industry Understanding of the dynamics and evolving purchasing needs of vessels. Experience managing logistics (delivery, supply chain) for ship's stores. Knowledge and experience with purchasing systems (Enterprise Browser) * Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in a timely manner.
