Purchasing Assistant (project Based)

Job Description

The Purchasing Assistant's primary responsibility is to assist the Purchasing Officer and Supervisor in ensuring the timely provision and quality of all non-stock goods and services purchases at reasonable and competitive prices.Tasks:1. Purchasing

  • Receives, facilitates, and monitors approved request forms and preparations for the approval of higher-ups.
  • Coordinates and confirms with user department specifications of requested items.
  • Contacts accredited suppliers for quotations and negotiations.
  • Coordinates with Accounting and Treasury departments for processing of payments to suppliers.
  • Sources out and recommends nontrade suppliers.
2. Admin
  • Maintains records of all suppliers
  • Retains and files copies of orders, receipts, and certificates.
  • Monitors and maintains working condition of company equipment accounted to.
  • Facilitates requests and releasing of supplies and conducts monthly inventory.
  • Submits summary reports and related records presentations.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any business-related course
  • At least 1 year of general experience related to procurement
  • At least 1 year of specific experience same industry or department
Job Type: TemporarySchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Bachelor's (Required)
Experience:
  • procurement: 1 year (Preferred)
