Purchase materials from local and overseas as per assigned lists of product range; process Purchase Orders.
Monitor the delivery of materials, update shipment advice for overseas orders, and ensure the materials are received at stipulated time for Production commencement.
Provide clerical support to the Manager and Officer.
Print monthly purchase reports and update approved vendor / supplier listing.
Assist the Manager and Officer in procurement (which shall include sourcing, negotiating, following-up and expediting of orders).
Filing of purchase documents.
Maintain good housekeeping in the purchasing office.
Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors.
Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.
Job Requirement :
GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
2 years of relevant working experience
Experience with Manufacturing environment or Electrical components
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to start work immediate or short notice
Maternity replacement, able to commit for 4 to 6 months
