Ensure compliance to Company Procurement Strategy and Policies. Support and handle full set of purchasing process, inclusive timely placement of purchase orders and monitor on-time delivery. Review and purchase material components as driven by MRP. Manage and maintain data in local system (ERP), group system (SVM) and share drive promptly. Manage in-coming materials issues follow through on parts rejects MRB disposition. Handles full set of purchasing process (Sourcing, RFQ, shipping and follow up on deliveries). Keep closely loop communication with planning and logistics department on urgent Inbound/outbound deliveries. Prepare Purchase Orders to suppliers ensure all inbound deliveries are in time to meet site schedules and address supplier's capacity, materials issues that may affect supply. Coordination with vendors on scheduling & expediting of deliveries or resolution of purchase discrepancies if any. Analyses and maintained an accurate cost per site (equipment and labour). Supports all Engineering programs in identifying and qualifying Suppliers, auditing new Vendors using both. Technical and commercial knowledge to support company requirements. Works closely with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies and verified correct shipment/purchase orders on packing lists. Exercise good vendor management and monitor performance of suppliers to meet objectives in the area of quality, inventory control and actively engages suppliers.
