Purchasing Officer (cabling/diversify Telecommunication)

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Create purchase orders and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and vendors, both local and international.
- Track and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery, addressing any issues with undelivered goods.
- Coordinate with operational departments to fulfill material requests.
- Maintain and update records related to purchased items, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventory levels.
- Verify documents such as Delivery Orders (DO), Purchase Orders (PO), and other related paperwork.
- Collaborate with the finance department on payment and financial matters.
- Support the preparation of tender bids and sales contracts and verify product specifications.
- Work with operations and warehouse teams to conduct product and inventory inspections.
- Prepare detailed reports and perform cost analysis.
- Undertake any additional duties as required
- A professional education certificate in any field
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the same role from Construction or any relevant field
- Independent, a team player
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Location: Tuas
- Standard working hours, 5.5 days
- Salary up to $3000 (depends on experience) + Bonuses
