:
- Responsible for sourcing/purchasing of materials and equipment required by the Company
- Prepare Purchase order
- Able to source for new suppliers/alternative parts/raw materials and equipment etc
- Monitor and drive the performance of suppliers to ensure that the Company continues to use the best services
- Work with the Planner and Logistic executive to control and manage inventory to healthy level based on business needs
- Liaise with the Planner and production on the delivery schedule for raw materials regularly
- Negotiate with suppliers on cost and delivery lead time
- Liaise with Supplier on all quality issues
- Update the system latest standard cost for all the raw materials annually.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, quality replacement and returns in a timely manner
- Lead and drive cost reduction activities for all purchases
- To comply with all defined safe work procedures of the company
- To support company initiatives to protect the environment minimizing resource wastages, recycling effort and proper waste disposal
- 5 years relevant experience in procurement or purchasing roles
