Job Description
:The Purchaser is responsible for processing, expediting, analyzing and tracking purchase orders for the company's product components. He/She maintains and updates the established Purchase Order System.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Statistics or any course related to Supply Chain Management
- Must have at least one (1) year relevant working experience from a
- Extensive knowledge of inventory models, and inventory control procedures
- Ability to manage the purchasing cycle, including generating requisitions, PO creation, PO follow-up, goods reception and final payment
- Ability to effectively calculate the inventory required to restock items with various inventory models such as periodic review, order point, time-phased order point.
- Understands logistics operations and inventory flows;
- Understands inventory/accounting relationships; ability to prioritize needs
- Highly proficient in the use and application of MS Excel, MS Power Point, and other data base software
- Experience in SAP system is an advantage
- Highly analytical skills
