Job Title Purple - Cloud Engineering Consultant

We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Consultant who will be part of our Telstra Purple business unit which provides professional and managed services to our enterprise customers. This role will help build out cloud business of Telstra Purple across Asia and will be a technical lead in this space.

Being part of Telstra Purple means you will be part of over 1600 business and tech gurus delivering over 1600 customer projects daily across Networks, Security, Cloud, Collaboration, Mobility and Project Management.

As the Cloud Engineering Consultant, you\'ll be:

• Demonstrating your ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously as required on defined projects. The capability to take direction and interpret technical architecture requirements and perform hands-on configuration and implementation.
• Selling yourself to a customer, as you are what the customer is purchasing. You must be able to put customers concerns at rest and show competency and experience at the task at hand.
• Conducting assessments & gathering requirements, implement the cloud infrastructure and migrating workloads to the cloud platform
• Resolve technical issues: troubleshoot incidents, identify issues, fix bugs, document problems, and implement preventive measures

To be successful in the role, you must have:

• Demonstrated experience in building, configuring, designing, migration of Infrastructure and/or applications to Microsoft Azure
• Experience in compute/storage and virtualization, network and cyber security principles
• Exposure to third party migration tools and processes
• Experience in migrating Databases to Azure, deploying data platforms and automate provisioning with Infra as Code like Terraform
• Experience in using monitoring and security tools Azure Defender and Sentinel
• Knowledge of Active Directory/Azure Active Directory/Wintel/MSSQL DB
• Knowledge of the complexities of migration and enterprise project exposure
• Experience in consulting environments, customer focused and ability to produce quality documentation
