_ To prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. Knowledge of costs and benefits that support profitable business decisions. Must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons, the goal is to provide detailed reports so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth. _JOB DUTIES

• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
• Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
• Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
• Creating labor estimates for any project
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors
• Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
• Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders
• Compiling and recording actual costs

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 - 3 years' experience in the signage / construction industry
• Proven experience as an estimator or similar position
• Strong analytic abilities
• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs
• Understanding of construction documents and plans
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to coordinate and work independently
• Knowledge of CAD software is a bonus
• Client management and communication

REQUIRED SKILLS / SOFTWARE

• Strong estimating background
• Keen attention to details
• Background in signage is important
