Join a Leading MNC in Chemical Manufacturing!Are you passionate about quality assurance and looking to make a significant impact in the chemical industry? We are seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our client\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Assurance Section. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with advanced equipment and comprehensive laboratory facilities, supporting the QA Manager in managing product quality and laboratory operations.What\'s in it for you?Competitive Remuneration Package: Up to $4500 basic salary with $280 fixed allowances.
Convenient Work Location: Based in Jurong Island with company transport provided at designated points.
Stable Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm.Responsibilities:

• Plant Support: Provide support in the production of polyolefin products (polyethylene and polypropylene) and oversee the shipping inspection of finished products.
• Method Development: Establish and review test methods, equipment, and manuals to meet new requirements and ensure continual improvement.
• Maintenance: Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment in good working condition, including performing instrument troubleshooting.
• Laboratory Operations: Oversee day-to-day laboratory activities, such as scheduling tests and managing inventory control of laboratory supplies.
• ISO Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external parties for ISO 9001 activities and monitor the progress of ISO programs.
• Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure safety and environmental protection in the laboratory.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Possess a Degree in Chemical, Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Material Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience within the chemical industry.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in quality assurance processes and ISO management systems is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability as a team player with initiative, drive, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
