We are seeking a QA Engineer I to join the Restaurants Product Line on the journey to deliver exceptional experience to millions of end-users. The Restaurant Product Line focuses on the user journey from selection of the freshly cooked food to doorstep delivery. You will be based in Singapore, working collaboratively with the wider projects department to test real-life problems.

Your mission:

  • Support the team in building a cohesive and quality solution by conducting thorough testing and automation (functional testing, regression testing, integration testing).
  • Aims to write test-cases with easy testability, readability, future automation, edge cases, errors & negative scenarios in mind, and proficient in test-cases management.
  • Prioritize, estimate & plan testing activities while contributing to the increase in test automation coverages.
  • Support the team with TA best practices, environment setups including test-data preparations.
  • Assure QA policy & procedures are followed before critical app releases.
  • Constantly automate regressions and repeated executions.
  • Work closely with peers & stakeholders on improvements & coordination for issues\' troubleshooting.
  • Write clear documentation for existing projects or proposals as well as willingness to conduct sessions when needed.
Your heroic skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Test Automation, ideally with a multi-national user/ business base, with a creative and analytical mindset.
  • Basic understanding of Client-Server architecture including Mobile, Web and Backend.
  • Basic understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Good understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, CI systems & deployment pipelines and knowing possibilities to debug any issues in the processes.
  • Basic understanding of software development and take into consideration testability, maintainability, scalability, and code quality.
  • Knowledge of programming best practices while being able to learn & utilize any new tech-stack flexibly.
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, fault-tolerant, agile environment on cross-functional teams.
  • Rigor in high code quality and other engineering best practices.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks; such as Cypress, Espresso & EarlGrey.
  • ISTQB certification is a bonus.
  • Knowledge about different testing types, like contract testing, & when to use them in the development workflow.
  • Experience in one or more performance testing tools.
  • Hands-on experience with security testing & disaster management.
