Mission
Bubblegum (BBG) is a new and fast-growing division within the MoneySmart Group that aims to bring customers the best insurance products at the sweetest prices possible. The QA Engineer role, the position offers an exciting opportunity to help support our enterprise insurance processing system. You must be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, and willing to learn about the Insurance industry. Candidates should also be able to effectively multi-task while remaining flexible to changes in priorities and deadlines. Responsibilities- Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards;
- Report bug cases, partner with development to verify the fixes, and escalate critical findings;
- Defining Release Test Plans and criteria for user acceptance including entry/exit criteria;
- Developing, updating, and maintaining quality testing standards and procedures;
- Help the team get valuable test feedback faster so that we shift failure detection sooner in our development process;
- Communicate with the support team and help them identify bugs and potential product improvements;
- Bachelor\'s degree in IT related discipline;
- You ideally have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in software development, software quality assurance, and automation;
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
- Experience with both white box and black box testing;
- Experience testing APIs;
- A big plus, if you are experienced with writing test automation scripts;
- A big plus, if you are have an experience of working with databases and SQL;
