Duties:
Supervise QA inspectors and technicians in daily quality operations, ensuring tasks are planned, assigned, and monitored according to standards.
Provide training, coaching, and guidance to enhance team competency and support continuous improvement.
Promote quality awareness and best practices across departments through effective leadership.
Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for all QA activities.
Conduct internal audits and assist with external quality audits.
Implement and maintain quality management systems such as ISO, HACCP, or GMP.
Manage customer complaints professionally by conducting investigations, performing root cause analysis, and executing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Communicate investigation results and resolutions to customers and management, maintaining a detailed complaint log.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
Identify opportunities to enhance product quality and reduce rework or waste.
Participate in product trials, validations, and change control processes.
Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to management.
Maintain and update SOPs and other quality documentation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and root cause analysis tools.
