Develop and modify CMM programs for part inspections using industry-leading software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso).
Perform CMM inspections to ensure parts meet precise design specifications and tolerances.
Quality Assurance & Inspection:
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using CMM and other measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
Generate detailed inspection reports documenting results, measurements, and deviations.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve any quality issues or concerns.
Data Analysis & Process Monitoring:
Collect, analyze, and interpret inspection data to identify trends and ensure consistent quality.
Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to track process performance and recommend improvements.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with engineering, production, and design teams to review technical drawings and ensure conformance to specifications.
Provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement in production quality.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date calibration records for CMM machines and other inspection tools.
Ensure all inspections comply with ISO and other relevant industry standards.
Document non-conformance issues and participate in corrective action processes.
Maintenance & Equipment Care:
Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CMM machines and inspection equipment.
Work with the maintenance team to resolve any equipment malfunctions.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent future quality issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience in CMM programming and operation in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and precision measurement tools.
Knowledge in Wenzel machine
Preferred with Singapore Experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
