The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing inspection activities, managing quality control processes, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required technical and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in line with project specifications, client standards, and industry best practices.
Conduct inspections during prefabrication, installation, and testing phases of hook-up utilities with clients, contractors, and vendors.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and achieved.
Review and prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Quality Control Procedures (QCP), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), method statements, material submissions, and P&IDs.
Inspect various hook-up utilities such as stainless-steel tubing welds, PVDF/PP welds, and PVC joints.
Manage documentation for redlines/as-builts, checklists, tool turn-on records, and QAQC reports.
Support internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC-related documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field).
Experience in QA/QC roles for
semiconductor or industrial construction
projects, preferably in
tool hook-up
.
Strong knowledge of cleanroom standards, process utility systems, and semiconductor tool installation requirements.
Familiar with
ISO 9001
, inspection procedures, and QA/QC documentation standards.
Able to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
