Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Executes functions in accordance with the approved inspection and test plan for electrical / instrumentation installation such as material verification, inspect the quality of the cable and equipment installation, and witnessing of tests.C
• Continuously monitors the quality of workmanship in compliance with the relevant codes and regulations.
• Liaises with owners, certifying authority, production and engineering departments on implementation of quality procedures, waivers etc.
• Coordinates with owners, certifying authority and production on all inspections and testing, and follow-up with the rectification.
• Prepares inspection and test reports for compilation.
• Monitors non-conformity / corrective actions.
• Reviews specifications and drawings, and update the drawings with information required for as-built drawings.
• Assists in the preparation of final documentation of deliverable data to owners.
• Ensure the safety of personnel through compliance with Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Regulations.
• Ensure that Health, Safety & Environmental operating procedures are followed and counsel employees about compliance as necessary.
• Participate in the preparation of Safe work, Environmental control and Emergency procedures.
• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree/diploma in electrical engineering .
• Welding inspection certificate such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector or IWI, CSWIP 3.1 or API 570 Piping Inspector
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in offshore platform/ oil and gas
• Must be comfortable being able to work on modules and offshore environment.
• Good team player and able to work independently
• Willing to commit overtime and shiftwork when required
• Willing to travel overseas when required
